About Spare Hour

Start small, build carefully

A product earns its place by being useful the first time someone opens it, and by working the same way every time after that. We would rather ship one thing that works well than several that half work.

Own what we build

Design, code and infrastructure are made and run by us. When something goes wrong, we can find it and fix it ourselves, and we answer for every part of the product.

Respect the people using it

Our apps ask for what they need and explain what they do with it. Safety tools, clear policies and a way to reach a person are part of the product from the start.
